🚨 Important information for International Protection Applicants (DPI) in Luxembourg!

Do you still think you have to wait 6 months before you can work in Luxembourg?

That's no longer the case!

Following the implementation of new measures by the Directorate General of Immigration and ADEM, International Protection Applicants (DPI) can now access the labour market 4 months after submitting their application for international protection, without needing a Temporary Work Authorisation (AOT).

📄 For applications submitted from 11/06/2026 onwards, the date from which you can access the labour market is now indicated directly on the front of the pink document.

⚠️ This information applies only to International Protection Applicants (DPI). The procedures may be different depending on your immigration status.
